I literally tripped upon this little chiller “Cooks,” from Still Woozy just the other day and it’s been running through my mind ever since. What a tight little groove this band I’ve never heard of has going on. It’s almost like a little fungus sound in the beginning. I can’t describe it but it instantly made me like , “Ooh la la.” Then it pops with a little drum machine sounding beat, guitar and pootsy bass line. If you’re like me, you’re hooked like a damn cat fish. It kind of sounds like the group Prelow except a little spacier/fungal. Maybe a little Alt-j feeling in there as well. I want more from these guys as all I can find is this song and one other. So let’s hit them up on the cell like where that food at? I guess what I’m trying to say is put this little piece of pumpkin pie on your “feel good vibes” playlist.
