The recently released EP from french synthpop producer Anoraak has an absolutely killer opening track called “Evolve” featuring singer Lydmor. This song is like taking Chvrches, fixing all their flaws and adding heavy, heavy bass. The chorus has an absolutely earth shattering drop that you will not be able to keep yourself from dancing to. Lydmor could not be more perfect for this song; her voice reaches each shimmer of the melody, weaving in and out of the beat. The rest of this EP, entitled Black Gold Sun, has some more great instrumental tracks as well, but nothing tops “Evolve.”
