For those who thought Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble” couldn’t bang any harder, I give you Skrillex’s absolutely absurd remix. In true Skrillex fashion, he takes what is already insane and ratchets it up to 11. This remix has everything; menacing horns, earth-shattering drops, mind-bending vocal manipulations and the mangling of genres that you know you’re always going to get from a Skrillex remix. It’s pretty insane how Skrillex preserves the mood of Kendricks vocals and lyrics amidst all of the chaos of his beats. It’s an original take on a song that couldn’t possibly get any more original, and for that, you have to commend Skrillex even if you’re not a fan of his frenetic beats.
