I thought I would share this little wonderful discovery, “Not Mine,” from Miquela. If you’ve got a nice summer pool day going on this Sunday, this might be your jam. This songs got the chill guitar vibes with a hip hop beat. Miquela raps over the beat with an autotune that comes through perfectly. She has a little glow over the guitar for a second and then the beat drops in and just gets you going like a little disco boy back in the 70’s on your damn roller skates. Usually I’m not a big autotune fan but she uses it to her advantage and it comes off nicely. I’ve never heard of Miquela before but if she keeps popping off these Shwayze-esq jams, I think she’ll keep appearing on my playlist. Cheers to your Sunday!
